We are seeking a Systems Engineer for the Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS) Product Office (PO). Ensures technical sufficiency of input to Sources Sought Notices, coordination with stakeholders, and program documentation, such as contract requirements packages, performance/system specifications, and statements of work. Drives use of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and compliance with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles. Effectively communicates with SUAS personnel, PM UAS functionals and staff, prime contractors and suppliers, user representatives, and Army airworthiness personnel. Establishes and monitors cost, schedule, and performance of systems engineering activities across the lifecycle. Prepares and delivers reports and briefings to senior management describing program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate. Provides technical oversight of contracted works to include leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups, analyzing contractor performance, identification of risk, development of courses of action, development of mitigations, and development of recommendations during all phases of the systems engineering process and product life cycle.
