As a Production Control Tool Coordinator, you will be involved in satisfying manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies. Above all, employees will be provided the opportunity to seek, speak, and listen within the organization, which they are encouraged to share externally with each Boeing customer to develop and build balanced and mutually beneficial work relationships. **Position Responsibilities** : + Support manufacturing and fabrication of Boeing airplane parts by procuring non-flyaway materials, tools, shop supplies and services by using the ordering and inventory systems i.e. Ariba and Cribmaster 11 + Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources + Engage with shop personnel and analyze recommended solutions for process requirements + Represent Boeing as a Tool Coordinator SME + Interact with Procurement Agents/Suppliers on a daily basis, working one-on-one to resolve any issues + Maintain accurate inventory and set min/max level to ensure shop is supported + Use skills and ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information and working with it dispassionately + Use skill and ability to ensure manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory compliance i.e. Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, Hazardous Material Control, and Supplier Contact **This position is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations.** **The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + High School or Equivalent + 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Inventory Management + 3+ years of experience in a direct manufacturing role + Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + 1+ year(s) of experience in a Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Supply Chain Management + 1+ year (s) of experience in shop manufacturing processes + Complete knowledge and experience with serialize tools used for measurement in detail and assembly manufacturing **Typical Education/ Experience:** Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. **Relocation:** Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
