**Mid-Level Underground Transmission Drafter** Location **Boise** Job Code **17787** \# of openings **1** Apply Now (https://phh.tbe.taleo.net/phh04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=POWERENGINEERS&cws=44&rid=17787) **Mid-Level Underground Transmission Drafter** POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Mid-Level Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Boise, ID office. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work with underground transmission line engineers and drafters to complete the following activities: + Working with engineers and other drafters in the creation of construction drawings for underground transmission lines including: plan and profile drawings, detail drawings, cover sheet, and notes. + Performing quality assurance checks on construction drawings + Collaborating in both in-person meetings and virtual conference calls + Organizing projects and their subsequent files and documents in ProjectWise + Experience opportunities can include field visits and coordination with contractors and clients **Required Education/Experience:** + Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree) + Strong experience in MicroStation + Experience with drawing creation for Power Delivery (transmission, substation, distribution) **Desired Education/Experience:** + 3 or more years drafting experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D + Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems + Experience interpreting surveys + Experience with Power Delivery client drafting standards (Xcel, Oncor, etc.) + Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel + Strong written and oral communications skills At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
