Our Data Center and Mission Critical Group is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Oakland, CA office, or remote from Columbus, OH or Ashburn, VA. Responsibilities Prepare error-free engineering documents (e.g., drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, evaluations) according to and bounded by industry codes, standards, and regulations to support client engineering needsGenerate engineering related documents in accordance with client, ENERCON, adhering to client and ENERCON procedures, processes, specifications, and other company or project directivesMaintain up to date and relevant knowledge of industry codes and standards, safety culture, and design techniques suitable to the data center industryProduce high-quality engineering deliverables in accordance with client and ENERCON procedures that are consistent with project work scopes and client expectationsBuild strong relationships with clients through professional interactions and communications, and through the development of quality engineering productsConsult with other disciplines to ensure designs are compatible with and have considered all disciplinary requirementsTravel to sites to interface with client personnel, and to perform walk-downs related to the project workServe as the Responsible Engineer (RE) for discipline scope on projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityMinimum of 3 years of engineering design experienceExperience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems. Data center experience a plusProficient with AutoCADProficient with Microsoft Suite including, but not limited to, Word and ExcelExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams Ability to travel 10%-15%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

Pay Range USD $78,400.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr. Additional Information
