What You'll Do

As a Senior Finance Analyst/ Finance Analyst, you will form a critical part of the expanding Finance Business Development Team.
This fast-paced and highly strategic function forms part of the broader ME BD Team, led by the ME BD Chair and dedicated MDPs. 


The role will require you to work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including case teams, MDPs, PA nodes, Regional Commercial Directors, as well as local commercial and staffing teams.

  

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting local BD committee with insights: Reviewing and screening price discount requests received from business leadersProviding insights to the committee in terms of commercial discounts and investments requested along with price simulation and scenario analysisProviding insights on client account performance and portfolio analysisProviding recommendations to the committee based on initial analysisClosely working with Commercial Directors and Business heads on collating the recommendations for VariablePricing projects and Master service agreementsProviding support to business leaders with rate card, price modelling and commercial simulation queriesReviewing the conversion process:Closely reviewing the process with offshore support team in terms of providing go-ahead to staff the case/projectReviewing sold pricing & commercials vs approved by BD CommitteeMonitoring and Reviewing Investment Vehicles Assisting the BD manager with reviewing the utilization of various investment vehiclesAssisting the BD manager by analyzing the utilization of various global, local pool of funds and their application while approving investment requests from business leadersAnalytics and Client Account Planning: Compiling up-to-date insights and generating analytics to support presentations for Client Account Planning meetings.Dashboard Creation and Decision Support: Refreshing and developing dashboards and professional analytics to assist BD MDPs in making informed decisions on investment requests at the ME-Investment Desk. Proficient in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, and other Microsoft analytical tools.Competitive and Performance Analysis: Updating slides for presentations and conducting base analysis on key BD topics, including competition analysis, pipeline analysis, and win/loss evaluations.Data Management and Reporting: Supporting data management efforts, investment reporting, and maintaining the investment dashboard. Enhancing insights on investment performance, conversions, and KPIs relevant to investments (well verse with tools like tableau, power BI)Strategic and Commercial Support: Assisting the team with ad-hoc strategic, commercial, investment, and PA-specific insights for leadership meetings

What You'll Bring

ACCA/CA/CIMA or Masters in Finance & Accounting, mathematics or engineering4 -5 years business experience preferably in a professional services firm having worked in commercial finance, revenue management, pricing and investment governance, business analytics, FP&A, M&A preferredStrong analytical, data management and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills; with fluency in EnglishAdvanced level computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (experience in Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python and analytical tools is highly preferred)Very strong service orientation and responsiveness to requestsHigh-level organizational skills: handling competing priorities effectivelyStrong attention to detailAbility to work effectively as a member of a teamAbility to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environmentAbility to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and individuals across functionsYou are results driven and self-motivated
