As an analyst in Capital Advisory Solutions - Asset Based Lending, you will work both independently and as part of a team to introduce a broad spectrum of financing solutions to clients. Your responsibility will be to assist Originators, ABL Syndications Group, and Credit Risk Managers in booking, syndicating, and managing a portfolio of Commercial and Investment Banking clients who have Asset Based loans. The role involves analyzing financial performance and collateral, preparing approval documentation, interacting with clients and other product partners within JPM, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Analyze/spread financial data and communicate financial and collateral performance to Credit Risk Managers.
+ Work on financial models to support financing transactions
+ Assist in the preparation of approval documentation for client requests, amendments, restructures, and annual reviews along with other ad hoc requests to support the Credit Risk Managers.
+ Participate in approval meetings and client meetings.
+ Ensure all relevant credit file documentation is maintained in DealWorks and monitor and clear internal documentation events.
+ Maintain responsibility for the completion and accuracy of the Monthly Portfolio Review reports, desk audits, regulatory reporting, and other information requests.
+ Work on pipeline entries, market/industry comps, and deal highlights for senior management
+ Assist in preparation of preliminary screening memos, deal structuring, pitch materials, and syndication overview materials for the front-end process of the deal cycle
+ Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**
+ Minimum GPA 3.2 required
+ Superior analytical, leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
+ Keen attention to detail and creative mindset
+ Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Exhibit sound judgement, agility, and the ability to work as a team player
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**
+ 1+ years relevant experience post-college graduation; experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field is a plus
+ Completed BA/BS degree (Business, Finance & Accounting preferred; all majors considered)
+ Some exposure to credit fundamentals and/or previous client exposure is a plus
+ Knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment preferred
+ Asset based financing knowledge strongly preferred
