Middle Office – Reconciliations – DAV Team Lead

As a DAV Reconciliations Team Lead in Investment Middle Office Reconciliations, you will provide reconciliation services covering the Cash Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Custody and Fund Account and Middle Office Book of Records; Asset Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Custody and Fund Account and Middle Office Book of Records and other Reconciliations by Asset Class, stand-alone and bespoke reconciliations supporting regulatory client or product requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will be handling DAV (Data Administration and Validation) who will be responsible in reviewing the feed validation completed by the team and providing sign-off to the Reconciliations team and other stakeholders. Facilitate completion of Static data maintenance in iRecs such as Account Set-ups, closures, and amendments Facilitate set-up request in iRecs relating to Onboarding and Offboarding clients. Perform balance and transactional reconciliation of client records against street (custody / transfer agency/ brokers) from providing root cause analysis to resolving exceptions. Partner with various global teams (internal and external) to resolve exceptions and trade issues: Client facing teams to communicate and resolve client issues; Broker/custodians and other relevant parties to meet settlement and market cut-offs; Technology to report and solution system bugs/incidents.  Manage new business initiatives from clients to support the business expansion opportunities. Lead and support global and local projects on digital solutions, system enhancements, and market rule changes. Completes operational balancing and reconciliations and identification of breaks. Performs routine inquiries and research from the stakeholders.  Completes Regular and Ad hoc reporting required from the process. Participates with systems testing or enhancements and participates in various projects/initiatives – BAU or non-BAU and also supports the team manager in his daily and any Ad hoc tasks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, Derivatives, Money Market, Cash Products Team oriented individual establishing good rapport with colleagues or teammates. Ability to thrive in a changing work environment. Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with cross functional teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to proactively identify risks and escalate issues, undertaking the investigation required with the goal of resolving issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the initiative to drive change and enhance controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Prior knowledge of the trade lifecycle, fund accounting and/or experience supporting trade business Self-starter who works in a fast paced, results driven environment with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills. Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experience in automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, Xceptor, Instabase
