Amergis is partnered with a middle school in Somerset,MA to hire a contracted Behavior Technician or RBT.

Position details include:

Position: 1:1 BT/ RBT

Location: Somerset, MA

School Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (summerschedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM)

Duration: ASAP- June 20th for 24/25school year (summer extension: July 7th to August 7th)

Responsibilities:

·       Working 1:1 with a student in a sub-separateclassroom

·       Data collection

·       Implementation of a behavior intervention plan(FAIR plan)

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable  Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)  Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  Must be at least 18 years of age
