This position supports the Make it Minnesota Program goal of supplying Minnesota food and beverage makers with relevant data on middle supply chain functions, including commercial kitchens and co-manufacturers. Responsibilities includes: + Collecting and reporting appropriate data from co-manufacturing and shared commercial kitchen operators in Minnesota. + Conducting outreach to food and beverage manufacturers and facility operators who list their services and facilities in Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s (MDA) web directory, and finding new entities to include in those directories. + Gathering and reporting on qualitative information on food and beverage supply chain service providers and participants in Minnesota. + Supporting development of strategy around promotion of Minnesota co-manufacturing. This vacancy is located in St. Paul and will have the ability to telework. This is a temporary position anticipated to last one year. **Minimum Qualifications** _To facilitate proper years of service crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held._ Two years of experience in food and beverage marketing, food and beverage communications, or delivery of educational or marketing programs to food producers or processors. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, agriculture, nutrition, public administration, food systems, business administration, or related field may substitute for one year of experience. _Additional required experience includes:_ + Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel), experience using database systems and customer relationship management systems such as SalesForce or Foundant. + Ability to write and speak effectively in public to a diverse clientele. + Experience managing state or federally funded projects including planning, budgeting, and reporting. + Must be available for reasonable travel, including some overnight stays and weekend events. + Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record subject to review. + The ability to celebrate diversity and a strong commitment to a respectful and inclusive work environment. **Preferred Qualifications** A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, agriculture, nutrition, public administration, food systems, business administration, or related field. Experience writing and preparing effective reports and proposals. Experience planning and implementing events such as educational conferences and trade shows. Proficiency in data management. Experience working with Minnesota’s food industry ecosystem. Experience with stakeholder engagement.
