JOB SUMMARY The Midstream Business Analyst II is responsible for budgets & forecasting, financial modeling, contract administration, commercial negotiations, and market research/analysis. The successful candidate will add significant value to BKV’s portfolio of rapid-growth, fast-paced businesses. This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the MIDSTREAM BUSINESS ANALYST II include: • Developing and maintaining internal budget projections and monthly financials. • Working with Engineering, Operations, and Business Development to assess capital projects, monitor midstream LOE/spend, and assist with growing the business via acquisitions and organic growth opportunities. • Reading, reviewing, and thoroughly understanding midstream contracts and agreements, including gas gathering agreements, purchase and sale agreements, NAESBs, etc. as well as working with the Legal Department to finalize and execute new agreements. • Developing presentations for leadership regarding business opportunities, M&A, etc. • Building proposals for partnering with potential end-users. • Analyzing, negotiating with customers, and responding to RFPs. • Assisting with deal evaluation process to accelerate decision-making timeline. • Providing regular basin analysis to help determine basin results by operator and identify where business development opportunities exist. • Supporting pipeline and other company operations in developing and going to market with business development and marketing ideas. • Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS • Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements. • Strong FP&A, contracts, and financial modeling experience preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Advanced interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. • Demonstrated attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills. • Demonstrated cognitive and problem-solving skills. • Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS • No specific licenses or certifications required or preferred. SALARY RANGE • $74,000 to $122,000
