Job Description
Our client in New Castle has several immediate openings in their welding department. These are entry-level MIG welding positions, as 95% of the welding in the facility is done by robots. The welds you will be performing are primarily repair welds on thin carbon steel using wire-fed equipment. This is a production-based role with significant growth potential.

Work Environment
The welding department operates on two shifts: A Shift (5:30am-5:30pm) and B Shift (5:30pm-5:30am). Employees will get at least one day to leave early per week. The facility is a high-pressure, just-in-time environment where products are on a vehicle at Honda within six hours of production. The dress code includes a provided shirt, t-shirt, jeans (without rips/tears), and closed-toe shoes. Candidates must be flexible to work on weekends and up to 60 hours per week. The facility has 597 employees working over three shifts, with most machines being robotic welders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50
