Job Description
We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-28+/hr and opportunities for overtime pay, including optional double-time on Sundays. We currently have openings for the 2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm).
ResponsibilitiesInterpret mechanical drawings including weld symbols.Perform quality checks using appropriate gauges such as calipers and dial indicators.Weld parts made of carbon steel.Conduct basic fit-up of products to mechanical drawings with assistance.Weld small products independently.Coordinate with other welders in the fabrication of products.Design and build simple jigs and fixtures for multi-piece tasks as needed.Mentor junior welders on welding techniques and quality control.Use hand and power tools as required to complete work.Own required personal hand tools; weld shields, gloves, and sleeves will be provided.Essential SkillsOver 2 years of MIG Welding experience.Experience with blueprints, work instructions, or engineering drawings.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Ability to convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.Proficiency in reading a tape measure within 1/16 inch.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Post-high school certification in welding or related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hand fabrication, blueprint interpretation, TIG welding, flux core welding, and structural steel welding.Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds regularly.Good communication skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our state-of-the-art 750,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is equipped with the latest technologies, including solid modeling design software, CAD/CAM processes, CNC laser cutting, CNC press brake, CNC turret punch, CNC sawing, CNC mill, and robotic welding. Employees are required to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach with hands and arms regularly. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, ensuring the small parcel distribution world keeps moving at full speed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
