Diagnose and repair equipment performance issues, up to and including component change outs.Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections (PM’s) and running repairs on a variety of Off Road equipment.List of equipment includes:Rigid Frame Haul trucks (Cat and Komatsu)Articulated Haul Trucks (Cat, Volvo, Deere, Komatsu)Dozers (Cat and Deere)Excavators/Shovels (Hitachi, Cat, Deere, Komatsu)Graders (Cat) QualificationsHaul Truck Operator

Grader Operator
Minimum 1 Years' experience operating 16/24 GraderMust be able to read grade stakes and be familiar with GPS.
Articulating Truck Operator
1 year experience operating an Articulating TruckOther equipment experience an asset (Loader, and/or Drum Packer)Ticketed Off-Road Mechanic (HET)
A valid Alberta Trade Ticket (Off Road) Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic/Technician (Off Road).Minimum 2 years’ experience post trade ticket certification on large Haul Trucks/Dozers/Graders and Excavators.Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.Capable of working with minimal supervision.Exhibit professional work behaviors.Committed to continuous learning.Experience with Cat SIS is an asset.Basic knowledge of computer applications.Demonstrate leadership skills in daily work interaction.
