Military Course Curriculum Manager
Military Course Curriculum Manager Amentum is actively seeking a Military Course Curriculum Manager with expertise in course curriculum development, revision and maintenance. This position is ideally suited for individuals with experience managing Technical Curriculum. Work is performed at a Navy Training Command located at Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Coronado, CA. Responsibilities: · Provides day-to-day curriculum management of command academic procedures. · Development and implementation of courses within the division, coordinating, analyzing and reviewing technical work of others. · Plans or assists in planning curriculum priorities, analyzing timelines and preparing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for submission to the Learning Standards Officer (LSO) via the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). · Provides oversight of course curriculum reviews, instructor qualification and curriculum maintenance/curriculum changes within the purview of the command Learning Standards Officer. · Conduct test analysis and development or revision of test items. · Adhere to Amentum’s Ethics Program, Workplace Environment, and Occupational Safety standards. · Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area. Minimum Qualifications: · Ability to secure a Secret Clearance. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. · Successfully graduated from the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) 805A or 9502 or another military or civilian equivalent. · Ability to perform classroom instruction and laboratory training. · Qualified as a Navy Second Class Swimmer or equivalent. · Availability to work alternate schedules as required by training needs. · Willingness to work occasional overtime. · Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and conditions. · Ability to perform limited travel, as needed. Preferred Qualifications: · Military experience. · Experienced in documentation management. · Proficient in utilizing SharePoint for collaboration and document management. · Experience utilizing Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS). · Strong communication skills · First Aid CPR & AED. Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits: This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future. Compensation & Benefits: HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $38.80 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
