Under general guidance and with limited supervision, the Assistant Store Leader assists in the leadership of store operations including building a successful team, developing customer loyalty, driving for results, and achieving goals set for the store.  As needed to achieve success, an Assistant Store Leader is responsible for motivating sales teams, managing the day-to-day operations of the store, maintaining up to date promotional material and hiring/training new staff.  This position supervises others including Senior Guest Advisors, Guest Advisors, and Seasonal Associates.  Assistant Store Leaders will always act in accordance with GameStop’s policies, practices, and core values.

The ideal candidate must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and meeting monthly sales goals, be an excellent communicator and demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 18 years of age*High school diploma required; An Associate’s or accredited Bachelor’s degree preferredOne or more years of experience working in a retail sales environment, ideally in a leadership role

Sales positions available in GameStop's Fort Carson store are eligible to earn compensation ranges outlined below, depending on factors such as experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.

Sales Associates - Between $12.50/hour and $13.50/hourShift Leads - Between $13.00/hour and $15.00/hourAssistant Store Manager - Between $14.00/hour and $18.00/hourSeasonal Sales Associates (when available) - $12.50/hour
