Description Under general supervision safely maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot multiple types of electrical systems and equipment in support of a Mill/Processing site. Removal, repair and installation of electrical systems and components within the following areas and systems: mill (primary/regrind), leach area, packing area, boiler room, reagent area, acid house, general mill, conveyor equipment, air, water and power line systemsPerform equipment electrical analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimizationWork on switch gear and distribution including grounding, LOTOTO procedures, and use of jumper formsPerform preventative maintenance including checking motors, checking for ground loops, metering electrical circuits, calibrating equipment and completing additional checksReview, revise and create SOP’sPerform NRC conduit bending and fastening: conduit, cable tray, grounds, boxes, and calculating loads and feeder sizesTrain and mentor other Electrical department employees on:Proper testing of PPEProper audit of Mill sitePreventative maintenance (either electrical or instrumentation)Product flow and prioritiesNew electrical installationPrint readingAct as Fill-in Supervisor as neededMay be required to use the following mobile equipment: forklifts, light duty vehicles, bucket trucks, high-lift trucksPerform other duties as requiredQualifications

Minimum Qualifications

 

Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical and/or Instrumentation program, ORMinimum of four (4) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance, ORAssociate's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field and two (2) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenanceKnowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints, and electronic printsKnowledge of proper SOP'sMust have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

What We Offer You 

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $31.00 - $42.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require
