Job Summary
Assists with the implementation of plant preventive maintenance programs, assists operators and maintenance with light maintenance, cleans and changes out DSM screens.  Clean, rebuild and install merco bowls and clam pods

Essential Job FunctionsRemains current with shift utility responsibilities.Provides vacation and call-off coverage for shift plant utility as needed.Cleans DSM screens changing gaskets and hoses.Changes DSM screensInstalls clams.Rebuilds clams.Installs merco bowls.Rebuilds merco bowls.Changes baghouse socks.Unloads corn trains as needed.Reclaims germ.Cleans areas as assigned by the Master Sanitation Schedule.Assists in keeping the Mill and Feedhouse audit ready.Assists in emergency situations, IE: cleaning fluid bed dryer, corn spills.Assists with environmental SO2 and baghouse readings.Assists operators as needed.May perform light maintenance duties on departmental equipment as appropriate.May perform reasonably similar or related duties as required.Education/TrainingMust Successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirementsExperiencePreferred:Good regular and prompt attendance historyExcellent safety record and awarenessPrevious plant/process experienceSpecial SkillsGood organizational and communication skills, and must be self-motivatedAbility to work well with others and with little supervision – (Required)Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilitiesHousekeeping and sanitation skills (MSS)Willingness to work overtime when necessaryAttention to detail and accurate record keeping skillsWorking ConditionsPrimarily days, with potential shift workWorking with potentially hazardous materialsIndoor and outdoorClimbing stairs frequentlyLiftingADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
