**Job Title: Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to journeyman-level CNC mill machining experience. This role involves setting up and operating CNC and machining centers to fabricate precision machined metallic and non-metallic parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform short run, precision CNC machining and handle 1st runs.
+ Set-up and operate CNC and machining centers.
+ Work with vertical milling, horizontal milling, turning centers, turn/mill centers, and multi-axis machines.
+ Specialize in setting up mill turn sub spindle live tooling lathes with minimal or no supervision.
+ Collaborate closely with Programming and Manufacturing Manager to optimize cycle times and machine efficiency.
+ Provide guidance and instruction to other machine operators and machinists.
+ Provide input to programmers and other technical personnel.
+ May be assigned to program CNC machines and machining centers using CAD, CAM software.
+ Ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and product quality meets customer specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Intermediate to journeyman-level CNC mill machining experience.
+ Process-oriented and adaptable to company processes.
+ Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
+ Experience with vertical and horizontal CNC mill machining.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with 5-axis CNC mill machines.
+ Knowledge of Mastercam or newer software.
+ Experience with Renishaw probe systems.
+ Experience working with Mazak CNC’s is a plus but not required.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean machining facility with over 10 CNC machines, including new ones being built. The facility includes a clean room and QC area. The day shift team consists of 5 programmers/machinists, and we encourage collaboration across departments.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TUALATIN, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
