Job Details Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems Location: Vernon , CA , United States Other Available Locations: N/A Compensation: $19.84 - $20.83 (plus weekly production bonus); potential average $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Basic Job Functions: + Assists workers engaged in the formation of sheet metal products by performing any combination of the following tasks: Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting. + Loads, stacks, and transports goods using the Crane. + able to drive a forklift + Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to punch the tube using the roll forming machine. + Cuts material using saw cutting machine. + Works with mill & roll form machines. + Oversee and operate all the section of the mill line. + Produce quality material that meets customer expectations. + Schedule and perform regular size changes. + Participate and perform regular maintenance on the line. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Train and ensure understanding of other positions in the mill line. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: + Able to work 1012-hour rotational shifts as needed, overtime, weekends, and holidays. + Minimum of one year of crane operating experience. + Able to lift 50 lbs. + Possess the ability to work with hand tools. + Being able to read a tape measure. Preferred Qualifications: + Previous experience working for a manufacturing company preferred. + 1-2 years of mill operator/ roll forming experience, preferred.
