**Job Title: Millwright**
**Job Description**
Repair critical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure optimum plant operation by protecting the daily production and maintenance schedules and achieving daily planned work targets. Apply technical knowledge and skills to the repair and perform maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment such as CNC controlled punching shearing and material transportation systems, overhead and wall cranes, fluid and air power systems and controls, band saws, welding feeders and power supplies, and roll forming lines. Support spare parts inventory and work order business processes and quality of data collected in the database. Maintain a safe, neat and clean working environment and comply with all legislated and company health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair critical equipment and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
+ Ensure optimum plant operation by protecting daily production and maintenance schedules.
+ Achieve daily planned work targets.
+ Apply technical knowledge and skills to repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
+ Support spare parts inventory and work order business processes.
+ Ensure quality data collection in the database.
+ Maintain a safe, neat, and clean working environment.
+ Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.
**Essential Skills**
+ Licensed 433A Millwright certification.
+ 3 years of Canadian heavy industrial experience.
+ Working knowledge of MIG/ARC welding.
+ Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder, and hand tools.
+ Troubleshooting, Blueprint reading, Hydraulics, Mechanical, and Welding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment is an asset.
+ Confident in reading and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
+ Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
+ Familiar with working at heights and lock-out tag-out procedures.
+ Ability to generate improvement solutions through root cause analysis to eliminate repeat failures.
+ Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

**Work Environment**
Constant exposure to a steel fabrication environment and regular exposure to weather conditions, excessive noise levels, and vibrations. Often works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Working at heights using aerial work platforms, working near energized systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical. The ability to stand continuously is essential with frequent walking and occasional sitting. The position requires a wide range of physical activities, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy objects (50 – 100 lbs), climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, and handling. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $89128.00
