**Job Title: Industrial Millwright** _$47.61/hr_ **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at a sawmill located on Mitchell Island. The ideal candidate will work primarily in the sawmill, setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to ensure smooth operations. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the operation of the mill and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting problems on all manufacturing equipment such as head rigs, quad saws, edgers, sorters, stackers, log cut-up systems, Nicholson debarkers, etc. + Complete maintenance following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications. + Troubleshoot faulty and malfunctioning machinery. + Control downtime by continually improving all sawmill manufacturing equipment. + Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety practices. **Essential Skills** + 4th year apprentice or Red Seal Ticket. + 1 year of industrial maintenance experience. + Reliable transportation. + Ability to work flexible hours and Saturdays. + Proficiency in troubleshooting, welding, and mechanical skills. **Why Work Here?** + Enjoy a leadership opportunity with steady and consistent hours in a family-owned company. + Many employees have been with us long-term, and there have been no layoffs for over 18 years. + There is an opportunity for advancement, as the head maintenance person for the planer mill is retiring soon. + Our friendly management fosters a tight-knit team culture. **Work Environment** + The work environment is industrial, steady-paced, and laid-back, with older-type equipment and both inside and outside plant operations. + The machinery can be loud while operating. + Safety is our number one priority, followed by production. + Shifts at the terminal sawmill include 6:00am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, and 10:30pm - 6:30am, with a need for flexibility. + Sometimes graveyard shifts are required, though not often. + The dress code includes coveralls (provided) and steel-toed boots (not provided). **Job Type & Location** This is a long term position based out of Richmond, British Columbia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $40.60 - $47.61/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,BC. **À propos d'Aerotek:** Nous savons qu’il est difficile de trouver du travail, et qu’il est encore plus difficile de trouver un travail enrichissant.
