**Job Title: Millwright** **Job Description** The Millwright is responsible for performing maintenance on all production equipment in the plant, including machining small parts, performing preventative maintenance, and advising on solutions to equipment-related problems. This role involves sharpening die sets, welding small components, performing major repairs on Punch Press and Roll Form Machinery, and mentoring apprentices. The Millwright will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work proactively to minimize production downtime and contribute to the overall efficiency of the facility. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance on all production equipment in the plant. + Machine small parts for plant equipment as necessary. + Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant. + Advise on solutions to related problems with equipment. + Sharpen die sets as necessary. + Weld small components as required in the shop. + Perform major repairs on Punch Press and Roll Form Machinery. + Mentor apprentices. **Essential Skills** + Red Seal Millwright certification. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing/maintenance. + Mechanical aptitude. + Solid knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous supervisory experience is an asset. + Welding experience. + Forklift and scissor lift certification (can obtain certification if not already certified). + Ability to read electrical schematics. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive wage and benefits package, including a guaranteed 40-hour work week, and extensive extended health benefits with premiums paid by the company. There is a possibility of working different shifts with a schedule of 4/10 day shifts.
