**Job Title: Millwright** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings/schematics, and maintain, install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves working with black pipe, copper, pex, natural gas burners, and continuous ovens. The Millwright will also be responsible for daily operations of a small gas-fired boiler, operating hoisting and lifting devices, and performing preventative and reactive maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings/schematics + Maintain, install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment + Work with black pipe, copper, pex, natural gas burners, and continuous ovens + Manage daily operations of a small gas-fired boiler + Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair + Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, regenerative vacuum blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems + Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts + Operate machine tools to fabricate equipment upgrades and parts as required + Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including cleaning and lubrication + MIG, Stick, TIG welding, electric arc, plasma cutting **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing facility + Experience with both preventative and reactive maintenance (electrical and mechanical) + 2 years of experience leading a team of 4 or more + Proficiency in English communication (verbal, written, reading) + Good computer skills + Ability to read blueprints and technical documents + Experience in similar-sized facilities + Basic experience with TIG welding of stainless steel + Willingness to work nights long-term **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Red Seal ticket (strongly preferred) + Experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing + Knowledge of food safety + Experience with refrigeration and power engineering (low pressure and/or boilers) + Experience plumbing with black pipe, copper, and pex + Experience working with natural gas burners and continuous ovens + Experience with TIG welding of aluminum **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits after 3 months, including 75% coverage for medical, dental, physio, and chiro. The facility includes coolers, freezers, and high-temperature areas around ovens. It is a large, noisy environment with various equipment operating. The operation runs 24/7 with three full shifts daily. Quality is prioritized, and the maintenance team has a large workshop area. The night shift team consists of a mix of long-tenured and newer employees, creating a positive and hardworking atmosphere. The team size includes 4 maintenance workers on the graveyard shift and 60 total working the night shift.
