About the Role:

The Preventative Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright is responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. This position also requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Millwright is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, packaging machinery, conveyors, and other machines.

Maintain packaging machine repairs, wrappers, and bagging machine.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair machine mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic system, controlled processing, packaging, labeling, sealing, wrapping, printing, coding machines and related equipment with a sense of urgency to ensure production schedules and requirements are maintained.

Perform all required cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance both preventative and predictive on machinery, equipment, and utilities.

Safe use of all hand tools (Grinders, drilling equipment, saws, etc.) to fabricate parts during overhaul, maintenance and set up of machinery.

Ensure communication on all equipment problems with maintenance department and management to increase efficiency when troubleshooting and repairing the equipment.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on Night shift.
