JOB SUMMARY:
The Millwright position consists of working on industrial and agricultural locations doing new construction, performing upgrades, maintenance, and service on facilities, machinery, and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Efficiently and accurately assist with the installation and maintenance of machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sitesAdhere to all Prairie Grain Partners’ safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNT, DOT, ect.)Maintain knowledge of grain storage equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, distributors, augers, spouting, legs, storage bins and tanks, structural towers, catwalks, platforms, etc.Assist in the preparation of job sitesAssist in loading, unloading, lifting, and moving of materials, parts, and tools to and from sitesPerform welding duties, such as flat, vertical, and overhead stick welding as neededOperate hand and power tools and other equipment as required to complete projectsPerform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectationsAssist crew with clean-up and housekeeping duties around job site, trucks, and trailers ensuring job sites are clean and orderlyMaintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customersMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulationsAssist other operations teams’ members for job completion and efficiencyPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Must be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDMust be able to legally work in the United StatesEnglish proficiencyApproved pre-employment drug screen3 years’ experience in welding, fabrication, industrial equipment installation requiredManual labor and construction knowledgeGeneral mechanical abilityBasic ability to read a tape measure, blueprints and have basic math skillsAbility to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and work in a repetitive and fast-paced environmentMust possess strong organizational skills and be detail-orientedMust possess excellent verbal & written communication skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to work at heightsAbility to work in a variety of environmental conditionsAbility to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:DOT approved – what does this mean??Other required certifications??PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
