**Job Title: Journeyman Millwright**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright with over 5 years of industrial millwright experience. The ideal candidate will possess a journeyman card and be proficient in rigging, moving equipment, welding, dolly repairs, and dock and door plate installations and repairs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of maintenance-related equipment and facilities.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
+ Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls, and related components.
+ Install supports and hangers for pipes, components and equipment, valves, and fittings.
+ Install, repair, and maintain HVAC, piping, and process controls.
+ Repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners.
+ Perform scheduled maintenance service on piping systems and control valves.
+ Inspect, repair, modify, and install mechanical equipment including conveyors, doors, fans, pumps, machinery, levelers, hydraulic equipment, and mechanical equipment.
+ Install, align, tear down, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
+ Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
+ Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Card-carrying journeyman from the millwright union, boilermaker, regional council, or carpenters and millwrights, ironworkers.
+ Experience in troubleshooting, installations, and making repairs.
+ Experience with chain repair and link adds, shock repair and replacement, safety hook welds, and caster repairs.
+ Mig welding experience.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Flint, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
