We are currently on the lookout for an experienced supervisor to join our elite team in Milwaukee, WI.. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. CBA Position Starting pay $25.00 per hourPosition Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement Benefits include:  Vacation: up to 14 days per year Paid Sick Leave: 5 days per yearMedical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.  Key Responsibilities:Responds to the changing needs of the Streetcar regarding coverage of operations, such as emergency situations, Streetcar vehicle replacement and repair, re-routing of Streetcar vehicle, delays in service and detours. Assists and schedules for appropriate shifts, routes, special runs, and services as necessary Coordinates with internal departments and other entities regarding incidents, accidents, emergencies, road conditions, adverse weather, detours, and schedule changes. Coordinates and directs extra service, special events and other projects as assigned. Accurately records and maintains events and activities in appropriated systems. Notifies appropriate upper level managerial personnel regarding operational problems; offers solutions and coordinates efforts for resolution Takes every reasonable precaution given the circumstances to direct and ensure the protection of other employees, contractors, volunteers, patrons and members of the public. Identifies and informs personnel of hazards in the workplace. Follows all safety policies and procedures and reports health and safety concerns in a timely manner Uses initiative and judgment to prioritize and handle sensitive and confidential requests and inquiries. Will be required to occasionally Operate Streetcar in Revenue Service. Guide and train other employees on proper procedures and protocol of the Streetcar, showing best technique to accomplish tasks and providing technical assistance as needed. Performs multiple tasks simultaneously, takes appropriate action when presented with a stressful (life/death) situation and remains calm under all circumstances. Directs and supervises field Streetcar vehicles status at all times to ensure safety of the employees performing activities, including working accidents, hazardous incidents, fire traffic control, pursuits, etc. May be required to contact various utility companies to resolve or report problems, such as, power failures, tree falling, and may be required to make emergency contact with law enforcement for callers in distress. Initiates collision reporting and participates in accident investigations when required. Supervises and monitors to ensure Federal, state and Company Safety compliance with applicable rules and regulations by operators and take corrective disciplinary action as necessary Perform other duties as assigned. Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates. Other duties as required. Qualifications:   21 years or older Valid state license  Excellent communication & customer service skills. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Two to Four years’ of related work experience as a Transit Supervisor, or   communications dispatcher required; preferably in a transit, transportation or logistics environment.  Physical Requirements:  The essential functions of this position require the ability to:  Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces. Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
