Opportunity to join the team managing Newmont Boddington Gold’s Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) - the World’s First Open Pit Gold AHS Operation.
The role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of radio equipment onsite used by CAT Terrain and Fleet systems to ensure a safe and continuous mining operation.
Your key to success will be the ability to deliver safer haulage operations and improved mining productivity, through reducing vehicle interactions and protecting people from operational hazards.
Develop your skills and gain experience operating innovative safety systems and technologies by being part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of the gold mining industry.
Key Tasks Include:
About You:
Qualifications as a Communications Technician or equivalent trade.Post trade qualification experience.Proficiency in computer operation and application.Experience working with Fleet Management Systems such as MineStar, Modular or similar dispatch systems.Action orientated, organisation skills, problem solver and priority driven – able to get work done and make complex decisions and priortise outcomes in a timely manner.
