Job Overview
As a minor New Works Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting in the management and processing of PPM remedial Work Orders by Mitie engineering teams and some specialist sub-contractors/service providers.
Main Duties
Line Management of a regional team of engineers – ensuring new works & remedial work is completed in line with SLA's and specification. Be able to identify and provide high level budget estimates upon request. Act as SME on all aspects of refrigerant based systems & associated remedial / additional work (including engineer support). Undertake quoting for remedial, minor new works & projects across NMN Contracts as & when opportunities arise. Undertake quality assurance visits on completed works – ensuring all relevant sign-off / handover certification & documentation is compliant & of a high standard. Develop scope of work and specifications in conjunction with client requirements and subsequent design parameters. Support the Continuous Improvement (CI) programme and identify issues to drive forward contract development. Undertake reporting analysis to identify new work opportunity & provide support to the wider Technical Team. Manage sub-contractors where self-delivery is not possible. Contribute to the Forward Maintenance register programme including asset management and warranty control. What we are looking for Previous operational experience – with particular emphasis on working with refrigerant based systems and Chillers People management skills who is able to communicate with colleagues, sub-contractors, supply chain & internal / external clients. Commercially astute. Conversant with current H&S legislation and process management systems IT literate in MS Office Sets and maintains high standards of delivery – attention to detail essential Driven to complete tasks above expectations Diligent, professional and intuitive High degree of self-motivation and dedication to achieving excellence. Able to interpret contract detail and implement requirements. Reviewing risk assessments and method statements as required to ensure works are completed in a safe manner. Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance. Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team. Experience of working within a customer focused environment. Wanting to achieve success, for his or her self, the business and the customer. Flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive). Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company, in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued.
