Under the direct supervisor of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible maintaining responsibility for every aspect of the Club; ensuring that all associates work effectively together as a team, and that the business continues to operate within budgetary limits and parameters of the law. Ensuring that the Club is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing warm and genuine service delivered with passion and dedication, exceeding our guests’ expectations at all times. Ensuring the smooth running of the department, managing the Club during service and taking complete ownership of the business.

Situated in the idyllic town of Montecito in Santa Barbara County, 80 miles north of Los Angeles but a world away, Miramar Club offers its select members and their families a true home away from home, steeped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality and surrounded by stunning natural beauty.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction with dining experiences.Exercise responsible supervisory behavior at all times and positively represent the Club management team and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.Assists General Manager in management of a team of food and beverage professionals ensuring brand standards and required sequence of service components are executed with precision.Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.Ensure discretion and confidentiality with club members and their guests.Prepare and submit daily/weekly payroll and tip distribution records.Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering. Contact Engineering directly for urgent repairs.Document pertinent information in department logbook.Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards.Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with General Manager.Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.All other duties as required.Experience:Minimum three years’ experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager.Hotel operational exposure (i.e. F&B) is preferred.Experience with a luxury or ultra-luxury property or brand is preferred.Qualifications:Must have a current and valid ServSafe Manager Food Protection Certification. Must have a current and valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Server ID
The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $74,000. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel experience, location, and education
