Professionally, ALIS IT Service administrators develop skills of our many domestic US or expanding number of International locations. For the adventurous, temporary travel opportunities allow you to provide support at other locations and aboard ships deploying with the system.

This role is for an experienced Information Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus on Mission Planning for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Misawa AB, Japan.

A Day in the Life .

As an ALIS Administrator with our F-35 ALIS team partnering with our customer, you will wear many hats; mission planning admin duties, system admin duties, and network admin duties. As a Mission Planning SME you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, field any questions and/or concern and troubleshoot any reported problems. You will be assigned tasks You will be responsible to develop a group of less experienced Mission Systems Administrators. You will work closely with US Air Force Pilots and Administrators on Mission Planning and Debrief. You will oversee resolution of issues with Mission planning related IT and Crypto Systems.

* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Interacting daily with users providing assistance on the ALIS product suite

o Perform COMSEC duties and adhere to requirements; learn CRO duties

o Support pilots in all aspects of Mission Planning/Debriefing

o Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updates

o Support, administer, and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accounts

o Assist in troubleshooting issues tied to mission planning and debrief

o Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed

o Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment

o Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis

o Coordinating extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities

This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week—which may include weekends—as dictated by mission requirements.

Must have a valid US Passport.

A level 4 employee Typically has 7-12 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :
Candidates must have a valid active or inactive DOD TS/SCI Clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Vetting.

Must hold a current and be able to retain) DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)

The ability to maintain a DOD Top Secret Clearance

IT experience of any combination in system/database/network administration

Must be willing and able to deploy in support of the United States Air Force

Experience with three of the following: Powershell; Virtual Machines; DNS/DHCP;SQLPlus; RMAN; data import/export; Layers 2&3; firewalls; intrusion detection
Desired Skills:
Greater than 2 years ALIS Administration Experience

Familiarity with the US Air Force, to Include Policies, Procedures, and Operations

Experience working with an Operational Fighter Squadron

Experience working with JMPS.

Involvement working with Mission Planning, Mission Debiref, Military Intel and/or Flight Operations.

COMSEC Experience.

Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.

Experience Troubleshooting Web Applications

JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity

Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM

Disaster recovery: Backups and Restores of Physical Servers, Virtual Machines, Databases, and Network Equipment

Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)

Maintaining/Upgrading System Hardware and Startup/Shutdown of Rack Components

Applying Updates, Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware Updates, and Patch Updates

Installing Oracle Critical Patches, Reviewing Tables and DBA Views for Issues, and Locating User Session Data

Managing Large Oracle and SQLServer Databases
