The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) EA-18G Mission Systems Avionics Integration & Test team has an exciting opportunity for a Mission Systems Design and Analysis Engineer in Berkeley, MO. This individual will develop and integrate electronic attack subsystems on the EA-18G weapon system.
The Design & Analysis Engineer develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Mission Systems Design and Analysis Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Design hardware, software and interface specifications
Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Interface with all Mission Systems teams and other teams throughout the enterprise to ensure the development is properly planned and implemented
Respond to changes to SOW, assessing the impact and helping to negotiate proposed changes to the deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules
Lead project execution to complete the work statement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
(Level 2) 2+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or work related experience with a Master’s
(Level 3) 5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related experience with a Master’s or work related experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Electrical Engineer, Computer Science
Experience with Electronic Attack / Electronic Warfare
Active U.S. Secret Clearance

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). Summary pay range (Associate, Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100
Summary pay range (Experienced, Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
