The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), MQ-25 Program is seeking a Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer located at Mascoutah, Illinois at the Mid America Airport - MQ-25 Production and Flight Test Facility.

The Boeing MQ-25 Program has an opportunity for a Mission Systems Engineer who wants to contribute to advances in autonomous aviation.  This engineer will help make history by joining a program that is the future of unmanned aircraft carrier aviation for the U.S. Navy! This engineer will be working with a cross-functional teams to integrate and help certify mission systems avionics equipment on the MQ-25 platform.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Experienced Level Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

Support Final Assembly Operations through the development and oversight of installation and checkout procedures related to MQ-25 Mission Systems Avionics in the factory

Coordinate Production findings / and co-develop solutions to production issues with Mission Systems hardware engineering based out of Hazelwood, Missouri

Support Ramp and Flight Test Operations through the development and execution of Air Vehicle Checkout Procedures, Air Vehicle /Ground Control Integration, Taxi, and Flight Tests operations.

Assist with real-time flight test data

Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization

Note:  Second Shift work and/or Rotating will be expected

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Associate (Level 2) Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related work experience or Master’s degree with related work experience

Experienced (Level 3) Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related work experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of related work experience or PhD with related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with integrating Mission Systems avionics onto a platform.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

This position is for 2nd shift currently. May develop into rotational shift in future.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
