The Boeing Company is seeking a Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer to join the MQ-25 Mission Management Systems team located in Hazelwood, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The Boeing MQ-25 Program has an opportunity for Engineers who want to contribute to advances in autonomous aviation. You will help make history by joining a program that is the future of unmanned aircraft carrier aviation for the U.S. Navy! These engineers will be working with cross-functional teams to provide coordination, technical leadership for the execution of Mission Systems tasking related to the MQ-25 Mission Management Systems including processing, memory storage, stores management and networking.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced or Senior Level Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate the Security Certification of the Mission Management Systems through Lab -Based and Site Based Security Assessments
Coordinate with Supply Chain and internal suppliers to assure that Mission Systems Avionics required for the EMD aircraft are acquired in compliance with requirements, cost and schedule
Support project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status
Support Manufacturing Operations, Integration, Checkout, Ramp and Flight Test Operations at Mid America Airport
Develop architectural updates and analysis of alternatives (trades) and proposals to integrate new functionality into the existing MQ-25 Mission Systems framework as part of the Low Rate Initial Production and Full Rate Production roadmaps
Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experienced (Level 3) Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related work experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of related work experience or PhD with related work experience
Senior (Level 4) Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related work experience or Master’s degree and 7+ years of related work experience or PhD with related work experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in processing networking or memory storage systems or architecture.
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
