The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for Mission Systems Integrated Product Team Leader - B52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). Position location will be in Oklahoma City, OK.
B-52J CERP is a large-scale development program within Boeing Defense Space & Security on contract through System CDR, scheduled for 3Q 2025, EMD award planned for 2025 with Period of Performance through 2033. With the planned sun-setting of B-1 and B-2 Bomber fleets, USAF considers B-52J development among its highest priorities and will stand with the B-21 as the two bombers of the USAF structure for 2050 and beyond.
The Program development scope is replacing the legacy TF33 engines with a new Rolls-Royce F130 commercial engine, as well as upgrades to the electrical power subsystem, new flight computer processor, modified structural support and nacelle, environmental system upgrades, new internal air starter unit for engines, new hydraulic pumps, new advanced cockpit displays, stand-up of 4 new subsystem hardware, software, integration development labs, significant software development through Ground Test and Flight Test certification, culminating with final Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) completion of two aircraft.
The Boeing program teams the Integrated Product Team (IPT) leader will engage with are located primarily in Oklahoma City, and Puget Sound. Supporting suppliers located across continental US.
The CERP Mission Systems (MS) IPT leader will provides critical leadership interfaces to the B-52J Government Customer located at Tinker AFB and senior leadership within the Bombers B-52J/B-1 Development business, reporting to the Program Director of B-52J CERP.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading, executing, and delivering at the overall subsystem level, including managing technical aspects, schedules, costs, risks, issues, and opportunities.Accountable for Integration and delivery of the Propulsion Integration Facility (PIF), the Electrical Power Lab (EPL), software development lab and Hydraulic system lab.Accountable for ensuring lab readiness by monitoring the lab construction, verifying parts, and updating hardware and software to ensure everything is prepared for testing.Accountable for overseeing the hardware and software requirements of the lab to facilitate the verification activities for CERP.Coordinate lab schedules for hardware and software updates, plan for lab utilization by Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and ensure readiness to support testing activities.IPT leader will oversee major subcontracts responsible for delivering lab hardware and software builds for CERP.Orchestrates and integrates across all supporting Functions and Program IPTs, contractual compliance and alignment.Oversees high first-time quality, on-time milestone completion, and disciplined baseline controls.Responsible for RIO effectiveness and overall PM best practice adherence.Maintains leading indicating healthy performance to plan metrics and dashboards.Accountable for timely reconciliation of issues and help needed within and across program functions and IPTs.Manage multiple delivery orders within overall prime contract.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

15+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives 10+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance 10+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas Extensive experience in leading, operating, and managing aerospace laboratories.Experience with defense related programs.Strong business and technical acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.Inspirational leadership and communication skills.Detailed knowledge of Enterprise functions supporting the programs.Ability to effectively interface with all levels of customer and Boeing leadership.Travel: Travel 20% of the time or more as needed

Summary pay range for $167,450 - $226,550
