Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $24.44 per hour plus $1.00 Shift Differential * Sign on bonus of $150 on hire, $250 after 90 days and $600 after 6 months (attendance and probationary policies apply).
Roles and Responsibilities:Pull ingredients for mixing using the First in First Out Method (FIFO). Retrieve finished missed for production using the same method.Responsible for creating mixes; must read formulas and follow procedures for mixing and blending.Must be able to operate all mixing equipment. Mixing equipment includes, but is not limited to the following: Littleford and Ribbon Mixers, Gemco Blenders, Sweco Sifters, Fitzpatrick and Mitro Mills, Screens, Scales, etc.Responsible for ensuring finished batches are labeled correctly, and that samples have been taken by Quality Control.Keep Mixing areas clean and tidy, and clean mixing equipment as needed.Report any quality issues immediatelyOther duties as assigned.All employees are responsible for following Plant Safety, SQF, FSMA, Food Safety-HACCP, GMP, Food Quality, Food Defense and Food Fraud policies and programs at all times, as well as reporting any issues – discrepancies immediately.Skills:• Quick Learner

• Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred
