Position Summary\: 

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Marketing Consultant and Manager provides consulting to SBDC clients in developing their marketing plans. They also oversee the center’s own marketing efforts. For clients, they help assess current marketing efforts and update marketing plans and tactics to align with the clients’ strategic growth goals. For the center, they are responsible for all marketing efforts, tracking performance, effectiveness, and results of all marketing and programmatic initiatives, and providing feedback on outcomes and ROI using analytics tools.

Required Education & Experience\:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field and at least four years of related experience in marketing. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities\:

*Strong customer-service skills 
*Strong design sensibility
*Knowledge of SEO performance and improvement tactics
*Knowledge of ever-evolving social media platforms and associated algorithms
*Familiarity with the Adobe suite, Microsoft applications, and Canva
*Experience working with CRMs
*Highly professional and collegial work style
*Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast-paced, highly collaborative educational environment
*Ability to work independently under general supervision.
*Demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with varying timelines and meet deadlines.
*Demonstrated an understanding and awareness of cultural diversity
*Understanding of and compliance with the Code of Professional Conduct

Preferred\: 

*Five years of related experience in marketing. 

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
