APPLY ONLINE: alextech.edu/jobs **RESPONSIBILITIES** This person is responsible for providing customer service to students, parents, staff, and others regarding financial aid. Individuals will receive training on federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs. This person will be responsible for processing of loans, working with scholarships, and maintaining documents to ensure the campus is meeting compliance. Individuals will assist staff with the management and processing of financial aid programs including disbursing financial aid, reconciling budgets, along with military benefits following already established policies and procedures. **Minimum Qualifications** + AA, AS or AAS degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, business management, finance, administrative assistant/office management, etc. **or** two years of experience working in a Financial Aid Office of an educational institution. + Knowledge of current Federal and State financial aid programs. + Prior experience with researching, interpreting, explaining, and applying federal or state regulations. + Knowledge of data practices and FERPA policies and laws. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, business management, finance, etc. + Four years working in higher education institution. + Four years working in financial aid. + Experience using ISRS (Integrated Student Registration System) and Department of Education software and web-based programs. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. **Alexandria Technical and Community College is committed to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment as expressed in the ATCC EDI Strategic Plan (https://www.alextech.edu/about-atcc/equity-diversity-inclusion) .
