Come join the fast-growing Control Systems and OT Cybersecurity business class in the Building Engineering Services business group (BES) at HDR. BES provides industry leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site civil, structural, fire and life safety, and lighting design services for a wide variety of buildings that include public, municipal, private, and government project types. Projects are a balance of local as well as across the region. With a team of experienced staff in specific market sectors such was Water/Wastewater, Datacenters, Healthcare, and Industrial facilities, we provide engineering excellence for our clients. The Control Systems and OT Cybersecurity business class provides comprehensive control systems and cybersecurity lifecycle services to all HDR businesss groups and clients.

In the role of MO/KS Control Systems Business Class Leader, we’ll count on you to:

Take responsibility for Missouri and Kansas area coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers, all within direction and goals of business class plansParticipate in delivery of project services to meet client expectationsCollaborate on business class efforts with area operations, marketing and project managementParticipate in business class practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and implement effective quality assurance and quality control reviewsParticipate in business class strategic planning, budgeting and plan implementationTake responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportTake administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelWork cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsActively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR valuesMaintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience 
Experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
