Role and Responsibilities

Position Objective

The Senior Manager, Business Analytics is responsible for NC (Tablet and PC) TAM modeling. This role will also lead ad-hoc strategic projects focused on growth initiatives and provide management support with thought leadership. The role is highly cross-functional and collaborates with sales accounts as well as product and channel marketing teams. This position reports to the Sr. Director.

Role & Responsibilities

Solving business-related problems – Develop and implement data analysis strategies that meet the business strategyEstablishing/operating big data infrastructure – Establish infrastructure that will collect/analyze/predict big data (structured/unstructured) and manage its operationEstablishing/operating data design – Manage to design and operate structure to maintain data integrityData modeling/assessment – Create data models to assist with decision-making processes. Manage and evaluate data to ensure consistencyData security – Establish a security system for data along with a strategy to protect data from unauthorized persons

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years-experience developing predictive models that directly inform and/or enable quantifiable business action, either by providing insights or building analytic applicationsBachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience6+ years Statistical modeling expertise: R required; Python; SQLMachine learning expertise: Time Series Regression, ARIMAX, Elastic Net Regression, GLM Regression (linear, logit, multinomial), K-Means/Hierarchical Clustering, Decision Tree required; Neural Network, Bayesian RegressionData scale expertise: Regular use of data with high-volume (1TB+) & high-dimensionality requiredAbility to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.Have operations, sales, marketing or service industry experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources. Strong knowledge of statistical methods and particularly in the areas of predictive modeling and classification.Extensive mobile industry knowledge, experience solving analytic problems using quantitative approaches and a proven passion for generating actionable insights and predictions from data.Master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience

Skills and Qualifications

• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks

• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing

• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
