Mobile Application Developer

Job Description We seek an experienced and highly skilled iOS and Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and support mobile applications across both platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address development challenges, ensure business growth, and contribute to the continuous improvement of ongoing projects.

This role will focus on multiple aspects of the Mobile application lifecycle, including backend module development, performance optimization, user data management, bug tracking, and regular updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile App Development: Design, implement, develop, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

User Feedback Handling: Manage and address user feedback, ensuring continuous improvement of web application features and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including Service Managers, Problem Managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project priorities are aligned with business goals.

Server and API Maintenance: Monitor and maintain web servers, ensuring API endpoints are functional, efficient, and secure.

Data Management: Ensure accurate management of user data, integrating best practices for security, privacy, and accessibility.

Data Backup and Restore: Implement and oversee robust data backup and restore procedures to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.

Code Maintenance and Documentation: Regularly refactor code for efficiency, clarity, and ease of maintenance. Maintain existing codebase with improvements. Produce clean and well-documented code. 

Platform Updates: Manage and implement platform updates and patches to keep systems current, stable, and secure.

APK Version Management: Oversee the management of APK versions, ensuring smooth transitions for updates and releases.

Performance Optimization: Identify areas for performance optimization, focusing on reducing load times, improving user experience, and increasing system reliability.

Issue Management: Participate in meetings with Service Managers to prioritize issues based on change management procedures and ensure tracking of resolutions.

Timeline Management: Track and manage project timelines to ensure all development efforts are on schedule and deadlines are met.

Migration: Lead efforts in migrating applications from on-premise environments to the cloud, adjusting approaches and scripts to achieve Security Implementation certificates.

Integration: Integrate mobile applications with existing platforms such as Single Sign-On (SSO), ICD, and Maximo, enhancing security and tracking capabilities.

Bug Tracking and Issue Management: Set up and maintain a bug tracking system to ensure issues are logged, prioritized, and resolved on time.

Version Control: Implement and maintain version control using Git, ensuring code integrity, collaboration, and version history.

Test End-to-End Functionality: Conduct thorough testing of workflows, including front-end and back-end components, to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and debugging of current projects under Service Management and Development (SMD) to ensure high levels of performance and functionality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

At least 3 years of experience in iOS and Android development.

Proven Strong proficiency in developing iOS and Android mobile applications.

Strong understanding of mobile development frameworks and tools (Xcode, Android Studio, etc.).

Expertise in developing login, authentication, data management, and API integration modules.

Experience with version control tools such as Git and bug tracking systems.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service and problem management.

Experience working with mobile application optimization and APK version management.

Solid understanding of data backup, restore strategies, and migration techniques.

Experience with change management processes and prioritization of development tasks.

Familiarity with Agile development practices and project management tools.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

A proactive attitude toward staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
