Key Responsibilities Responsible for Engage with key stakeholders (internal and external),to understand the product and user requirements of the solutions we are creating. Typically the developer works with product manager and QAs to deliver a feature. Establish necessary communication with various steams involved. The developer is expected to analyze and implement the solutions to address new requirements or bugs Adapt newer toolsets in android eco system to improve the stability of the app. Developer is expected to adhere to clean coding practices and writing unit test using frameworks like JUnit, Robolectric and Espresso Skills and Competencies

Functional Competencies

Must know overall Android Architecture, Lifecycle, APIs and Framework. Real-world experience in developing Android apps on 2.x+ Android SDK. Disclosing examples of work previously done would be highly recommended.

Knowledge and competencies

Knowledge of App Signing, Build Tools & Procedures. Extensive knowledge on AndroidUI. Knowledge of how to adhere to Android UI guidelines would be a plus. Knowledge in integrating app with variety of HTTP APIs would be a plus. Knowledge of android development patterns like MVP, MVVM would be a plus.

Hard skills

Core Java Good Knowledge of Android SDK’s Hands on experience in the full life cycle of Android application development Strong knowledge in RESTful web services Push Notifications & Toast Gradle build system and Jenkins CI

Qualification

A graduate with minimum 2 years of industry experience.
