Mobile Developer is responsible for building reliable, secure and highly-scalable IT systems for complex business problems by understanding and translating user needs into business and technical requirements and collaborating with crucial stakeholders to design, develop, test, integrate and implement these solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users, internal technology teams and external vendors to identify fit-for-purpose, reliable, secure and highly-scalable IT solutions to complex business problemsAnalyze and translate user needs into business and technical requirements, design, develop and ensure smooth implementation through collaboration with business and IT stakeholdersParticipate in Scrum activities in various roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Developer, subject to the assigned team structureWork independently during programme and project execution to ensure successful, on-time delivery by anticipating dependencies and impediments, prioritizing tasks, making trade-offs between business needs and constraints and managing work time efficientlyFacilitate collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication and documentationPlan, prioritize and deliver systems enhancements and bug fixesProvide Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshoot production systems and servicesDesign, build, test and deploy mobile/web application and/or prototype following best practicesWork closely with technical leads and architects to architect and develop the best technical design and approach for web/mobile applicationsCollaborate with other IT domains to drive innovation

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above, Masters preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

Minimum 2 years of IT experience across entire software development lifecycle for delivery of complex software solutionsSolid hands-on experience with web / mobile application development using modern technologies, e.g. Swift, React Native, React, AngularJS, Spring Boot and NodeJS in a containerized environments like Openshift and DockerFamiliarity with common mobile platforms such as iOS, Android and cloud platforms such as AWS, AzureAdvanced expertise in software development methodologies –Agile and DevOps is a mustStrong understanding of current technology concepts, trends and capabilitiesWell-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativityStrong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideasWell organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitudeExperience in collaborating with multiple cross-functional and geographically dispersed teamsAbility to interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholdersAbility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong verbal and written presentation skillsKnowledge in security and compliance practices and technologiesAirline knowledge is beneficial but not a mustPersonal & Application Information
