Job DescriptionPerform general, periodic, and preventive maintenance on construction equipment.Diagnose identified anomalies and determine their causes.Analyze breakdowns and failures to assess the nature of repairs and the time required to complete them.Carry out all necessary repairs to ensure proper machinery operation.Respond to internal clients' technical questions.Complete work orders and inspection sheets, documenting completed tasks and/or reported defects.Ensure the service vehicle is equipped with all necessary tools before heading to a site.Ensure proper use and functionality of company equipment.Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.Keep the company vehicle clean and organized.Work safely while adhering to company health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.Perform any other related tasks.

QualificationsExperience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance – Strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing construction machinery.Mechanical and Diagnostic Skills – Ability to analyze failures, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs.Technical Knowledge – Proficiency in working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in construction equipment.Attention to Detail – Ability to complete work orders and inspection reports accurately while ensuring high-quality repairs.Problem-Solving Skills – Capability to assess issues efficiently and determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.Safety Awareness – Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations (OHS) and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
