Job Purpose/Scope
The Mobile Education Manager (MEM) develops, grows, and oversees Acumed’s mobile lab program strategy, ensuring effective training for safe product use. Responsibilities include leading product integration for the program, using data analytics for strategic planning, assisting Mobile Lab Specialists (MLSs) with territory routes, creating onboarding/mentorship programs, coordinating mobile lab initiatives at tradeshows, and supporting national education programs involving mobile labs. The MEM provides leadership, develops talent, and ensures alignment with company goals.
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and execute Acumed’s mobile training strategy aligned with company goals.Manage and support five MLSs, providing leadership and mentorship.Lead product integration and use analytics to ensure targeted training.Shape MLS territory routes and coordinate mobile lab participation at events.Collaborate with Marketing on specific product initiatives.Plan and attend tradeshows, integrating mobile labs.Support major medical education programs with mobile lab resources.Operate an 18–24 month hiring and mentorship cycle for MLSs, fostering internal promotion.Create and track performance metrics aligned with company objectives.Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Education teams to refine training strategies.Evaluate and improve mobile lab processes, implementing efficiencies.Ensure mobile lab schedules are updated across websites and marketing collateral.Understand and address territory-specific training needs with MLSs.Develop and maintain SOPs for mobile lab training.Build relationships with surgeon faculty and key opinion leaders to support education efforts.Manage mobile lab budgets and maintenance within company guidelines.Provide clinical proficiency by demonstrating products during surgical training.Collaborate with Acumed teams to improve mobile lab performance.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, communication, marketing, education, or related field.5+ years of experience in medical devices, education, or clinical anatomy (sales/education experience preferred).Strategic vision development and execution experience.Proven leadership and team management across diverse locations.Strong anatomy, physiology, and communication skills.Ability to train and educate with passion for learning.Proficient in MS Office 365 and adaptable to 40% travel.Creative problem-solving skills and attention to logistics.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
