Summary About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Herlong is approximately 60 miles north of Reno, NV, and 35 miles south of Susanville, CA. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center. Employees work Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and childcare available. Responsibilities Follow strict safety rules and regulations when operating road-rail vehicles or any other mobile equipment. Operate engineering equipment such as graders and tractors. Perform operational inspections of vehicles. Operate forklifts with a lifting capacity of more than 10,000 pounds. Provide transportation and handling services of materials between storage and production areas by means of gasoline- or diesel-powered trucks and tractor trailers. I have the ability to perform common duties operating various types of motor vehicles, engineering equipment, and material handling equipment, such as a forklift.
