Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Ajax, ON. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible to carry out the various loads of material requiring the use of a loader. 

What you're responsible for:

Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areasRemoving rows of vehicles and ensuring access and maintenance of the yard, for our customersCrushing vehiclesPerforming inspections prior to use of all equipmentEnsuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the pressMarking cars for control and inventory purposesLoading crushed vehicles into delivery trucksPerforming forklift task when necessaryHelping customers transport heavy parts to their vehiclePerform labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (ex: depollution, removing rims from tires, daily support)

Qualifications

Ability to drive and operate a heavy vehicleAt least 1 year of experience in a similar roleDemonstrate, at all times, safe behaviour in accordance with health and safety standardsPatient and flexibleTeam playerConscientious of its equipmentGood ability to concentrateAbility to adapt to different climateLoader operator trainings (asset)
