Mobile Fabric Technician- South west & Wales
Location: Southwest England & Wales (MOBILE POSITION) Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 Working Hours: 40 Hours per week Contract: Lloyds Banking Group | Full time | Permanent

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to join our team as Painters and Decorators. In this role, you will perform various painting and decorating activities, including internal and external painting, preparation works, and minor repairs, while ensuring high safety standards. The position requires travel across over 300 locations in the South West of England & Wales, with occasional overnight stays. Ideal candidates will have a background in painting and decorating or a similar sector and hold a Level 2/3 City and Guilds qualification.

 

Responsibilities:

Perform internal and external painting and decorating in various environments. Carry out preparation works to walls to make ready for decoration. Conduct minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting. Use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works. Erect access equipment and temporary screening as required, with appropriate training and competency. Monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required. Adhere to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements. Conduct regular monitoring and inspection procedures for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance program. Answer queries, report defects, and keep the client informed of site activities during service visits.

 

Requirements:

Experienced/Qualified Painter. Full current driving licence. IT literacy for record keeping. Good customer service skills. Physical ability to carry out the duties detailed in the job description. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required, covering over 300 locations across the South West of England & Wales. Self-motivation and solutions-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualification to Level 2/3 City and Guilds.
