Position Title:                                   Mobile Field Mechanic - Aerial Equipment

Travel Required:                               75%

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to Terex safety policies and proceduresFollow and promote The Terex Way ValuesWork on a wide array of equipment including: truck mounted aerial platforms, mobile elevating work platformsTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systemsManage own schedule and support customers with repairsUtilize current technology to support everyday work functions

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDAble to pass MVRMinimum of 10 years in a similar fieldCurrently have a basic set of tools such as wrenches and socketsAbility to obtain a DOT qualificationWillingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screeningMust be located within 60 miles of Austin, TX

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Highly proficient in hydraulic and electrical system diagnosticsExcellent communication skills both oral and writtenBackground in customer serviceExperience with AWP/MEWP equipmentFluid Power Society certificationExtensive knowledge of Terex Products: e.g Hi-Ranger, TelelectExperience in rental equipment such as JLG or Genie Basic computer skills

Work Environment Considerations:

Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings as necessary and be on the road three to four nights per week.Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.Willing to work in different weather conditionsTolerable to heightsAble to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs

Salary: The compensation range for this position is $28-33 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
