As a Mobile Field Service Technician at Terex, based in Charleston, SC, you'll play a pivotal role in growing and expanding our service support across the US to continue to help serve our communities by listening, responding, and delivering solutions. Our service function is key to our business success, and we are looking to add skilled team members as we expand our service network. We continually invest in our team members by providing ongoing technical training to develop your skills and grow our business.
What you’ll do
Adhere to Terex safety policies and proceduresFollow and promote The Terex Way ValuesWork on a wide array of equipment including truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranesTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systemsManage own schedule and support customers with repairsUtilize current technology to support everyday work functionsWhat you’ll bring
High school diploma or GEDBasic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment2+ years of Field Service experienceAble to pass MVRAbility to obtain and maintain a DOT qualificationWillingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screeningMust be located within 60 miles of Charleston, SCOther Skills & Abilities
5+ years in a similar fieldExcellent communication skills: both oral and writtenBasic computer skillsBackground in customer serviceExperience with utility-type equipment, along with Genie &/or JLGExtensive knowledge of Terex Products: e.g Hi-Ranger, TelelectFluid Power Society certificationOther Working Conditions
Must be willing to work varied hours and be on the road up to three to four nights per week.Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.Able to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbsWilling to work in different weather conditionsTolerable to heightsWhy Join Us

Salary: The compensation range for this position is $32-$40 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
